Paonia Cat Walk

After being inspired by the Wedge neighborhood in Minneapolis and the Iowa City Kitty Walk, I (miserable childless cat lady) decided to bring the cat walk to Paonia!

What is the "Paonia Cat Walk"? The Paonia Cat Walk is an community event where local cat enthusiasts walk the streets of Paonia together to cat-gaze and celebrate our fine feline citizens in their yards, balconies, or through the windows of their homes. 

The event will take place on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12pm noon.

If you are interested in showcasing your cat please fill out the form linked here. By submitting this form, you grant us legal permission to show up outside your home with a crowd of people to see your cat. You can position your cat in a window or bring it outside on a balcony or porch, whichever is safest for your cat. If we include your home on the route, you will be contacted by email with further details shortly before the tour! 

Feel free to make yard signs or decorations to highlight your cat!! The weirder the better!! We are keeping the Cat Walk within the East - West borders of Grand Ave and Rio Grande, and within the North - South borders of 2nd and 4th Street.
